VTG Tiki - Guitar Handmade Wood Sculpture Bar / Restaurant Decor Art - Minnie's

Description

The story that was handed down to me is that this sculpture was once in a Tiki bar called Minnie's located in Modesto before it closed.  I've never been there.  So I can't confirm that.  But I thought I'd pass that story along and keep it attached to this item.
Measures roughly 40" tall or 3' 4".  Base roughly measures 9" x 6".
Looks like it might have been made from two pieces of wood.  The neck of the guitar has a gap (see detail photo).  I can see two posts inside connecting the pieces.  Because of the separation the neck is tilting forward at a slant and not straight up and down.  Could benefit from repair / restoration.  Vintage: please expect signs of age: rusted nail heads, splinters, rubs, scratches, marks to finish, dirt, etc...  Handmade: the blue paint and stain has varying shades of coverage, etc...  Please view pictures carefully >  Actual item pictured >
