Original antique and rare tin found buried behind a wall. 19th c. Old Manse Absolutely Pure Maple Syrup made from Canadian sap.
Great graphic litho paper label tin, hand soldered and extremely rare. The label shows a graphic of The Old Manse home in Concord, Massachusetts. Imported and Canned Only by William R. Manierre.
Primitive fun find,1800s maple syrup tin can with only slight damage for its many years. Still has a great look to it and bold nice colors. Would be a nice gift for the tin collector or for your own advertising tin collection.
The cap shows a cut around it. I am thinking someone was going to turn cut the can to turn in the equally rare coupon on the back. Luckily they left it alone.
The coupon depicts a beautiful syrup pitcher you might receive if turned into 30 32 River St. Chicago. Offer Expires April 1,1901.
On the side a label shows "Old Manse' We guarantee this Syrup to be absolutely pure.
